United on the Hill  Cancellation Policy

The PKD Foundation is grateful for your efforts to make Congressional office visits to help give thousands of Americans with PKD a voice in Congress to raise awareness and call for continued support of millions of dollars in federal research funding to find a treatment and cure for PKD.  We understand that health issues, as well as unexpected work and family obligations may prevent you from ultimately participating in United on the Hill.

If you cannot participate for any reason, we strongly encourage you to contact us by Friday, May 17, 2013, as this will give us the time needed to cancel your appointments with Congressional offices. Failing to cancel appointments in a timely manner, or having no shows for scheduled appointments, negatively impacts the PKD Foundation’s ability to schedule future appointments with Congressional offices as well as our ability to achieve our legislative priorities.

To cancel, contact the PKD Foundation at (816) 931-2600. To cancel hotel reservations, individuals must contact the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill directly at (202) 737-1234. Participants should make sure they know and understand the hotel’s cancellation policy, available on their web site, when making reservations. The PKD Foundation will not be responsible for cancelling hotel reservations, and individuals will be responsible for paying per night room charges for reservations not cancelled.
