Walk Coordinator Needed

The New Orleans Chapter is currently seeking a volunteer Walk Coordinator. This is a vital leadership role for the PKD Foundation and the New Orleans Chapter. The Foundation will provide you with support tools, including an invitation to attend our annual leadership training conference.

As a local Walk Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • organizing logistics for the Walk
  • recruiting volunteers
  • securing sponsorship
  • recruiting and encouraging team captains and participants
  • promoting the Walk within the community, and helping raise awareness of PKD and the Foundation.

This event is a great opportunity for collaborative team planning. This role needs an average of 2-3 hours per week, with additional time commitments at key planning stages. If you are interested in sharing your talents with PKD patients, we would enjoy talking with you about this position. Please contact Cindy Wissinger at cindyw@pkdcure.org.
