Thank you for joining us for the 15th Annual Liberty Mutual Insurance Invitational Driving Home a Cure for PKD Golf Tournament!
Our 15th Annual Liberty Mutual Invitational Driving Home A Cure For PKD Golf Tournament took us over the top as our biggest and best golf event to date!
We’re thrilled to report raising $95,000 this year, moving our event fund raising needle over that $1 million mark since it’s inception 15 years ago! We are grateful to all our fantastic sponsors, golf participants and volunteers for contributing to our continued success and for helping us positively impact PKD progress.
Adding to the excitement of this year’s event, which raised more than $15,000 specifically for research and education initiatives benefiting our children afflicted with ARPKD/ADPKD, was surprise guest speaker, Dr. Arlene Chapman who announced the establishment of the Karyn Waxman and Family Research Grant. This grant was recently given to Edward Inscho, PhD, for his work in Renal Vascular Function in ARPKD at the University of Alabama Birmingham.

Proceeds from this event benefit the mission of the PKD Foundation, the only organization worldwide dedicated to promoting programs of research, education, advocacy, support and awareness in order to discover treatments and a cure for polycystic kidney disease and improve the lives of all it affects.
