In March 2008, Jenni Miller, Australian Chapter Coordinator, and James Deane (PKD researcher) presented a talk in Shepparton, to a large number of Rotarians at there annual conference. The Rotary Club of Wodonga have made an ongoing committment to support the PKD foundation in raising funds for Research on PKD being carried out at Melbourn'es Monash University.
In August 2008, The Rotary Club of Wodonga held their Monster Auction, which raised $18,000 to fund PKD research and support the local dialysis centre.

At this time there are no events planned nationally because we are only allowed to run events in Victoria. We hope that within two years, the PKD Foundation Australia, Inc. will go national.
