The 2013 Homer W. Smith Awardee is Stefan Somlo from Yale University. He has a distinguished career as a nephrologist and as well as a PKD researcher. He is also the Vice-Chair of our Scientific Advisory Committee. The Homer Smith Award is presented annually to an individual who has made outstanding contributions which fundamentally affect the science of nephrology.
