Honoring Dr. Grantham

ig_granthamThis past weekend, we lost our esteemed Co-Founder Jared J. Grantham, M.D.

Dr. Grantham’s brilliant career as a clinician and researcher spanned more than five decades, most of which were dedicated to advancing PKD research and science. His determination to help PKD patients was unwavering and his many accomplishments were key to leading us closer to treatments and a cure for PKD. He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered.

A few months ago, we sat down with PKD researchers, volunteers, patients and members of PKD community to hear about their favorite memories of Dr. Grantham. We share these again today in honor of the many roles he filled in this community: researcher, leader, friend, colleague, mentor and more.

We will continue to honor Dr. Grantham’s legacy by working toward his vision that one day no one will have to suffer the full effects of PKD.

In lieu of flowers, Dr. Grantham’s family is accepting donations to the PKD Foundation to continue to advance his vision. Please consider making a gift in honor of Dr. Grantham’s memory. One hundred percent of your gift will support PKD research.
