Kidney transplants by the numbers

April is Donate Life Month, so we put together some stats to underscore the importance of organ donation in the lives of those affected by PKD. More than half of people with PKD will develop kidney failure by age 50. Once a person is in kidney failure, dialysis or a transplant are the only options to treat the damage caused by the disease. Check out the infographic below to learn more about kidney transplants and how they can change PKD patients’ lives.
