PKD Connect Ambassadors

PKD Connect Ambassadors play a vital role in providing local support for PKD communities across the United States and serve as the frontline for individuals new to the PKD Foundation. In this role, volunteers provide educational opportunities and support to their local PKD community while connecting individuals to PKDF programs and services as appropriate.

PKD Connect Ambassador Job Description

Community Meetings

A community meeting is an opportunity for local patients and families to gather in support of each other and to learn valuable information to help them manage living with PKD.

Community meetings can include activities such as:

  • Review and discussion of an existing PKD Foundation patient education resource, such as a webinar recording. Check out our resource library to view all patient resources.
  • Gathering to support one another, share individual experiences and share PKD Foundation resources to help manage PKD.
  • Invite a local expert to present a topic that complements PKD Foundation patient education.

Are you ready to plan a community meeting? Complete our event submission form. And a member of the Community Engagement team will follow up with next steps.
