When the Ehrlich family decided to donate their 1995 Honda Odyssey minivan, there was no question about where the funds should go.

Judy Ehrlich's connection to polycystic kidney disease and the PKD Foundation goes back more than 20 years. As a PKD patient, volunteer Chapter Coordinator and passionate supporter, Judy has remained committed to the Foundation's fight to end PKD.
So last April when the Ehrlich family decided to donate their 1995 Honda Odyssey minivan to a charity, there was no question about where the funds should go.
"For us, it was very clear," says Judy. "We knew we’d donate it the PKD Foundation."
Through the Vehicle Donations to Any Charity (V-DAC) program, the Ehrlichs donated their minivan and designated the funds to benefit the Foundation. The program follows a trouble-free process that saves everyone precious time. You don't have to sell the vehicle yourself, and proceeds from the sale go directly to the PKD Foundation to support the mission of finding treatments and a cure for PKD.
Through the program, the Ehrlich's van brought in around $1,900. "It couldn't have been a simpler process," recalls Judy. "All it took was a phone call, and the tow truck came and took it away."
For Judy and her family, vehicle donation was an easy and effective way to support the PKD Foundation.
"We took a valuable item - and turned it into critical funds for PKD research."
