A cure is our finish line

Published December 3, 2019Walk for PKD 2019

The nation’s largest gathering of the PKD community is our signature fundraising and public awareness event, the Walk for PKD. Since 2000, the Walk has raised over $30 million, 100% of which goes to research.

This fall, thousands of PKD community members across the country participated in 48 Walk for PKD events. Kicking off in September and ending in November, the fall Walk season is one of the busiest times of year for PKD Foundation staff and volunteers.

We are so grateful to our amazing fundraisers and want to recognize some outstanding performances.

Our Walk events may be over, but we’re continuing to fundraise through December 31!

Here are three simple ways you can help us reach our $2 million fundraising goal:

  1. Ask loved ones for a donation to your Walk instead of presents this holiday season.
  2. Take advantage of matching gift programs.
  3. Share your Walk page on social media.

Remember, 100% of Walk for PKD donations fund life-changing PKD research.

We would like to thank all the volunteers, walkers, and donors for making this Walk season a success. We can’t wait to see you again next year!
