Published on January 18, 2021 | Looking for a hands-on way that you can support PKD research? Fundraise Your Way allows you to take your passion and turn it into a PKD fundraiser. Whether it’s for just one day or all year long, there are countless options with Fundraise Your Way.
We’ve divided our fundraisers into three categories to get your ideas flowing:
Celebration: In lieu of gifts, dedicate your birthday, wedding, or transplant anniversary to the PKD Foundation.
Challenge: Think endurance and “thons”. Dance-a-thon, Peloton-a-thon, half-marathon, or your choice of exercise-a-thon. How about a fun challenge to engage your supporters – create the next “ice bucket challenge.” Get your friends together and host a golf tournament or dust off your bike and see how far you can ride. Check out the Memphis Golf Tournament for inspiration.
DIY: This is where you can really let your creativity run wild. Perhaps you’re a crafter; donate a percentage of your sales to the PKD Foundation. That’s what Rob Herman did with his passion for woodworking. Host a bake sale, rummage sale, dog wash, talent show, board game tournament, or trivia night. Got a favorite local restaurant? See if they’re willing to do a percentage of sales for PKD for a night.

Fundraise Your Way on Tiltify
New this year! We’re on Tiltify! Tiltify is the first crowdfunding site designed to turn your streams on Twitch, Youtube, or Facebook into a charity fundraiser. You don’t have to be a gamer to do live-stream fundraising. All you need is some streaming software and passion for PKD.

Would raffles be acceptable? Whether a purchase an item and raffle the item or maybe a 50/50 raffle?
Yes, raffles are an acceptable way to raise funds! There are gaming laws in each state that may have restrictions. Please email fundraising@pkdcure.org and a PKDF staff member will be able to advise.
