Adam Cassano
PKD Connect Ambassador
With a strong background in computer technical support, I bring years of experience in troubleshooting and optimizing technology for diverse needs. Alongside my technical expertise, I am passionate about philanthropy particularly in raising awareness for kidney health and disease prevention. In my free time, I enjoy reading, building models, and watching sports. Driven by a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement, I seek to combine my professional skills with my dedication to giving back to the community.
Being a volunteer for the PKD Foundation is deeply personal to me. PKD has impacted my family directly, as my father passed away from the disease in 2018, and I, along with several family members, also live with PKD. This connection drives my passion to raise awareness, support research, and advocate for others affected by this genetic condition. Volunteering with the PKDF allows me to honor my father’s memory and be part of a community working toward a cure. I believe that through education, fundraising, and supporting research, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of those living with PKD. It’s important to me to contribute to this cause, not only because of my personal experience but also to help future generations avoid the challenges that come with PKD. By volunteering, I am actively part of the solution, working to bring hope and better outcomes for families like mine.
